Bullet In the Chamber Holla! Omarosa Got a New TV Show on TV One

Real Estate Billionaire and Entertainment Mogul Donald J. Trump has partnered with TV One on a groundbreaking new reality series entitled, "Omarosa's Ultimate Merger."

Summer TCA Tour - Day 4

On the show, Omarosa will put a cadre of 12 hot, successful bachelors through a gauntlet of tests. These challenges are designed to play upon their weaknesses, test their business acumen, measure their seductive strengths, and draw out their true intentions. But these guys will fight back, and Omarosa may just meet her match. But this is all a part of the love dance... and viewers will get to see what happens when "sharks" mate.

Certainly no ordinary man could possibly weather the storm that is the cunning and opinionated Omarosa. But The Donald is not one to back down from a challenge. Don't expect these bachelors to be the usual band of romantic wimps and brainless him-bos seen in traditional dating shows. These men are all successful, egotistical, and looking forward to going toe to toe with the "Big O."

Donald J. Trump went on to say, "I am very excited to partner with the great Comcast Corporation and TV One. They really stepped up to the plate to do this deal. TV One is making a huge impression on the cable landscape with this tremendous new show."

Google said Tuesday it will subsidize free wireless network access in 47 airports from now until January 15--and indefinitely in the airports of Burbank, Calif., and Seattle.

The promotion, in cooperation with Boingo Wireless, Advanced Wireless Group, and Airport Marketing Income, is the latest effort to use free Wi-Fi to boost a brand. Among others: Yahoo is sponsoring Wi-Fi in Times Square in New York, and Google is sponsoring Internet access on Virgin America flights during the holidays.

The Cut: Star Jones Hosts 'Heart Of The City: Dying To Eat In Jackson,' A BET News Exclusive On Obesity

On Sunday, November 15 at 10:00 p.m. BET News and Star Jones take viewers straight to one of the cities carrying the heaviest burden of this epidemic -- Jackson, Mississippi -- with a one-hour news special, HEART OF THE CITY: DYING TO EAT IN JACKSON.

The 2009 AFI Fest Gala Screening Of PRECIOUS
"I used to be scared to step out there on the issue of Obesity but I realized that I wasn't being fair because I have a public platform and I need to use it for good," said Star Jones, host of HEART OF THE CITY: DYING TO EAT IN JACKSON. "I am not the 'poster child' for a specific weight loss method but I am a true advocate for adopting a healthy lifestyle because with all humility, doing so has saved my life."

Home to the U.S.'s largest population of African-Americans, the magnolia state annually weighs in as America's fattest state. The state's capitol has been called the canary in the coalmine for what awaits Black America should the obesity issue continue to go unchecked. The prevalence of obesity among African Americans in Mississippi is even greater than the national average for African-Americans, especially among Black women. And more alarming, increasing numbers of African-American children in the state are being diagnosed with obesity-related illnesses that in the past had been only found in adults.

Stop the Madness: Wife No. 2 Paying for Wife No. 1? | ABC.com

abcnews.go.com --  Stress over alimony payments to her husband's ex-wife nearly drove Deborah Scanlan to divorce. Helping her husband make alimony payments to his ex forced Jeanie Hitner to take on a second job. Both Massachusetts women now say they wish they'd never gotten married.

Unlike child support statutes, state laws on alimony are often vague, said Andrea Carroll, a law professor at Louisiana State University. This means, she said, that courts in other states could very well make rulings similar to the one in Louisiana.

How widespread the practice is in Massachusetts, meanwhile, is up for debate.

Supreme Court Declines to Block Execution of DC Sniper | nytimes.com

National Buzz -- The Supreme Court declined on Monday to block the execution of John A. Muhammad, the sniper who terrorized the region around Washington, D.C., seven years ago. The step cleared the way for Mr. Muhammad to be put to death on Tuesday unless Gov. Timothy M. Kaine of Virginia intervenes.

The court’s majority did not comment in refusing to hear Mr. Muhammad’s appeal, but three justices objected to the relative haste accompanying the execution.

Mr. Muhammad’s lawyer, Jonathan Sheldon, has maintained that his client was affected by his experiences in the Persian Gulf War.

The jurors who convicted Mr. Muhammad in November 2003, after a six-week trial, cited the defendant’s apparent lack of remorse in deciding to impose the death penalty.
